The Low Pressure Connectors Europe Division of Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, announces the launch of its new Parker Legris axial valve that uniquely combines both valve and actuation functions. Designed with pneumatic or electro-pneumatic control, this innovative valve addresses many limitations associated with traditional actuators, setting a new standard in the industry. It has been created for use in a wide range of applications, including pneumatic circuits for air, vacuum, and other pneumatic systems, lubrication systems with cutting oils and lubricants, and water treatment in non-drinking water and cooling systems.

The Parker Legris axial valve features a more robust and compact design, reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet market demands. A NAMUR spool valve or solenoid valve is included, offering improved durability and space efficiency. Parker’s offering introduces a complete range of axial valves in three versions (normally closed, normally opened, and double-acting), available with and without detection capabilities.

The axial valves offer various piloting options to accommodate diverse applications. The standard NAMUR mounting replaces the CNOMO pad-mounting, providing a robust and compact solution that aligns with industry standards. Additionally, the valve features a G1/8’’ connection that fits directly into the valve hole, allowing for easy installation and a 360° swivel capability. For ease of connection, Parker continues to provide solutions for piloting with fittings and tubes.

The new valve design includes a built-in magnet that detects valve positioning, ensuring a safe process through signal feedback. Key features of the valve include integrated limit switches that can be easily mounted in dedicated slots and fixed with screws for straightforward integration, as well as a REED limit switch with a 3-wire (PNP) configuration and a 2-meter length, providing longevity and ease of connection without mechanical wear.
